Expanding Horizons – The Forming of an Intuitive

There seems to be a misconception of who can have a heighten sense of intuition.  In previous articles I have written I have stated that it is a gift that all people possess. Yet the strength of your intuitive voice is another matter entirely.  Who you are and the how you flow through life greatly depends on how strong your intuitive voice is. There are three main contributing factors they are as follows.
First and most common strength are religious and or spiritual background that has a large bearing on how intuitive you are.  As we know when you are a religious or spiritual person there is a knowing of something greater you; an expansion of the mind of a greater collective that humanity is comprised of. When you are a religious or spiritual person it is second nature to ask questions and seek guidance outside of more common communications. So naturally these people are more apt to listen to the guidance of an inner voice.
Second is the how the intuitive voice is strengthened in childhood. A loving nurturing parent teaching their child expression through art, communication and strong self love impacts the intuition. This strengthens the ability for that child and later adult to believe and trust in the self and in essence listen to the voice inside them to guide them. Now strangely enough trauma may and can result in a heightened since of intuition. How this works is very basic, it is the instinct that we all possess to protect ourselves. Something very primal that allows the subconscious and intuitive mind to take over and protect its conscious mind and physical presence.
The third and final contribution of a strengthened intuitive voice is what you decided on before you came to this physical manifestation.  We are energy, and energy has to come from somewhere, energy never just fades away. It just changes form.  With this understanding we must embrace the idea that before we came to life we decided who and what we would be, how we impact humanity, the lessons we would learn and messages we would give.  In fact as we came into life we decided just how intuitive we would be.
There has been an enormous fluctuation in the amount of enlightened and intuitive people on our planet. We are watching evolution happen before eyes.  It is not a random event when more children are born with Autism and learning disabilities. Our children are communicating in a completely different way. They are maintaining their intuitive voice, instead shedding it in adolescents.
The majority of people will have at least one of these key factors.  The icing on the cake seems to come from your mission in life, ethics and ego.  When all is aligned, speaking to your higher self is like calling a friend on phone trusting in the next step and following your heart.
